I have never been a scout, nor am I an especially outdoorsy person. But, I do like a fire on the patio with friends. I decided to try this item, and am glad I did. These starters are easy to light and use. They tend to last long and get even the toughest wood to light.

The longevity of these firestarters is incredible, coming in with frozen wood while it's -8 degrees outside, place one of these small pieces in the woodfire stove and light, if ya notice the beeswax melts onto the wood and keeps the fire burning so hot even after it's done burning. Lights nicely.
